Pink Saturday 11/27/10

Happy Pink Saturday !!! Are we all still Stuffed from Thanksgiving or did you work it off shopping on Black Friday ?

I have random pinks to share this week. Piles of UFO's ( Unfinished objects ) around our house. You know my love for Vintage China ? I just cant resist a pretty piece while out Junking. These sweet tea cups are waiting their turn as Candle sconces. I seem to find lots of Tea Cups without the saucers and lots of saucers without the tea cups :) But that doesn't mean they still cant be used and cherished :) I have an island of Misfit China, hee hee. :) Does that make me Mrs. Claus ? :) Look at these Yummy saucers !! What a sweet pattern !
This Plate and Bowl were found at different times, and the rims are identical Blues, so I had to put them together :)

Perfect Dip and Chip server don't you think ? I still need to add a base to it. And the roses are the type that make you Sigh...........................So Soft and Pretty. Really, Pretty china can just take my breath away. I am SO not a material chick. ( no, REALLY, miss jeans and t shirt, boys hiking boots, and no jewelry. Name brand, whats that ?) HOWEVER I am in AWE of the talents that God has given each of us and how it has been expressed through artwork, pretty china, fabrics etc. For every pretty thing we see, there was a person behind it, planning its existence. ( And God within THEM inspiring such beauty) So, Yes, I LOVE stuff. Pretty Stuff. But I don't term that as Materialistic :) Does that make sense ?

Vintage Pink Vanity Stuff that will be getting embellished. I have assembled these pieces over the last year, and plan on embellishing all to add to my shop. All have been given a soft pink base in which to create something pretty :) Yes girls. Toilet paper should be made as pretty as possible :) :) :) Doncha Think ?
Well, That is my Pinks for the week. Thank you SO much Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for Hosting us every week. I cant wait to visit all of you Pink Posters this week :)

Hugs,

Rhea

I like the way you think because you think in pink!!

Who could resist pretty teacups and saucers and when they are pink, well, we gotta have em!!

I agree, the toilet paper could use some special attention. I can't wait for you to show us how you embellished the pieces.

hugs

Dear Miss Rhea, What a beautiful place to start off my Pink Saturday! I absolutely LOVE the pink toilet paper holder! I am busy putting my Christmas decorations and saving the best for last. My 6 foot pink cashmere Christmas tree with PINK lights!! My hubby says it can be seen in outer space and I think that is actually a good thing! Happy Pink Saturday to you! Shannon :)

Happy Pink Saturday Ms Rhea Sweetie...
What a gorgeous share. I love all the dishes, and I too think sometimes our little pieces of love that we pick up, just blend to a "T". Your choices were perfect.

Now this beautiful pink collection you have, I simply adore. Love the toilet paper holder. Now is that cute or what? I have never seen one. Love it. Even the tissue cover, oh my. You have quite a collection sweetie. I believe the powder box is my favorite. I remember one that my sweet grandmother had. Thank you for the memory today.

Have a glorious weekend sweet friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
