Pink Saturday

Happy Pink Saturday !!!!!

I hope everyone is having a Uber Blessed day !!! :) Please visit our sweet Hostess, Miss Beverly at How Sweet The Sound, and all of the other sweet Pink Bloggers :) Thank you Beverly !!!

I am Fall cleaning. I do a major clean in the fall and spring. Do you ? I found my pile of Vintage sheets that I have been collecting ( Hoarding ). I was hoping to someday make a Super Sweet slipcover for the family room couch, but since my sewing machine hasn't worked in over a YEAR, I have decided to destash and let someone else enjoy them. I know I will probably regret it, but, maybe not. :) Arent these YUMMY ?????I have yet to go through all of the vintage table runners, pillow cases, tea towels, hankies, sigh......................lol !! It is the starching and ironing on those I am dreading. :)

I am SO excited to share my latest Trash to Treasure !!! Remember last Saturday I showed you a few old tea cups I said I had plans for ?

Ta Da !!! :) Here is the before :And here is the After : What Yummy wall candle sconces !!! I am making a few more pair as well. These are in my shop. ( sorry, shameless plug )And my last Pink thing is a Question. I made This : about 4 years ago. It is a hanging sachet purse. Anyhoo, Do you see the insertion lace about 3/4 of the way down, with the pink ribbon bow ? Well, my question is ; Do you know where I can find More of this pretty trim ? I LOVE it. It came from a lady who made wedding gowns and was destashing ( at a Garage sale ) and I have never been able to find more. Any help would be much appreciated :)

Well, That is my Pinks this week. :)

Thank you SO much for dropping by :)

Hugs,

Rhea

I absolutely love the sheets! I have a b&b and always look for them, but they are hard to find? Are you selling them on etsy? Cuz I would love to buy some! Love the sconses, too. Beautiful pinks.

I don't know how you could stand to part with those beautiful sheets. I would love to see the slip covers they would make. Girl, you just need to get that sewing machine fixed or go to the thrift store and buy another, or if you want to visit me, I'll loan you my old Singer. :)

Those tea cup sonces are wonderful! What a creative lady you are. Who would have thought ugly old Home Interior could become so elegant?

What lovely pinks. There is a place called Corn's Outlet in Hendersonville, NC http://local.yahoo.com/info-13359163-corn-factory-outlet-hendersonville

That sells mailorder all kinds of lace and lingerie items. They might be able to help you.

The teacup wall sconces are just brilliant! It is a rare gift indeed to be able to see the potential in objects and to then carry your ideas through to create something so beautiful and original. I am full of admiration, and maybe just a little envy for that gift of yours!
