Happy Mother's Day !!!

Happy Mothers Day !! After all of the Internet connection problems I have had this month, last week my computer up and died. Poor thing was pooped out !!! lol So, I now have a Great connection and a newer computer, and hope to be visiting with you all again. :) My sweet Derby hat swap partner Priscilla sent me a Crown !!! And a REALLY pretty one at that !!! She also threw in a few goodies too. :) I Love this crown !! It is a soft cream, with vintage lace and glittered stars. :) :) :)
Isn't it perfection ??!!! Yummy !!!!! Also, a while back my dear friend Bertie was having a giveaway on her blog and I won this GORGEOUS basket !!! She made it just for me, with soft shabby roses. I just LOVE this pretty fabric !! Her work is exquisite, perfectly executed, not one drop of glue , she is a perfectionist and I am SO honored to have this. :) She handmade the medallion as well. She sells these on her website. :)

And finally, this is what I made for last week. I have a whole bunch of other items I completed that I will show in a few days. I have been very busy, although in major withdrawals from my bloggy friends. I cant wait to heat up a cup of decaf French vanilla cafe' and sit down and catch up with all of you. :)

Oh, could you not just eat her up !! :) I will have to pry her out of here as this tussie sold. :) Look at that sweet pouty face. I want to pinch her sweet cheeks. :)

Anyhow, that was my week. I have been walking the neighborhood every morning, trying to get in better shape to better counteract some of the pain. I do have some really good days here and there and I craft like a madwoman. :) I did find a great link about Costochonditris, this inflammatory thing I have, It was quite informative and helped me out greatly in understanding this disease. I say disease, although I don't know if it is categorized as such, but I have a Chronic version of it, meaning it probably will not go away. But, every morning I wake up, I am EVER so GRATEFUL that it wasn't something worse. It just takes a bit to get used to. Making myself stop and lie down throughout the day, is kind of hard, but a must. I was Miss, " No is not in my vocabulary" girl. And I am learning that it is ok and sometimes necessary to say no to things I cant do. This is definitely a growth season in my life and I am so TRULY Blessed to have all of you talented women to turn to for inspiration, prayer and sometimes just a laugh. :) ( I MISS ESTHER !!!) lol

Hugs,

Rhea

Your crown is stunning. It has been a while since we chatted and I'm sorry to hear that you are having some Yucky problems. One of my favorite quotes: " Reality is something we rise above." The reality is if we don't have a physical burden of some kind now....we will. You are in my prayers and thoughts dear blogger friend.
