Waiting to Exhale

This is a short post, I am trying to finish up the last of the Christmas goodies in time for mailing, these are a few things I made this week. I LOVE redoing the old train cases. This one is a " Going to Grandma's" case for a little girl. How Fun !!!!!! I WANT GRANDCHILDREN !!!!!! I keep saying that, hoping it will sink in. lol. We are cleaning the carpets and getting ready for all of the Decorations, I am hoping to have the house decorated within the next few days, so I will post pics. I have about one more week of the Ebay craziness, then I can sink my feet into the Holidays. My Hubby and I make hot chocolate and drive around the neighborhoods looking at lights, we do this about ten nights every year and just love it, and each year, we talk about doing our house in a gingerbread fantasy, but another year goes by and, just the roof lites and a few lighted window snowflakes go up. Oh well, maybe next year !! I am anticipating some good blogging time, to surf a bit and drool over everyones homes. I promise I will wipe my feet. lol. Anyhow, sorry this is so lame and short. Hugs, Rhea

Lame? I don't think so! I love the stuff you made and the train case is adorable! Makes me want to start looking for one, but I know it'd just sit and take up space and every time I looked at it I'd feel guilty because I don't have the imagination to do anything with it.

Rhea, thanks so much for stopping by my blog and for the sweet comment about my home.
Now that I've found your blog I'll have to go back to the beginning and read all about you. I just read the last post and saw the beautiful little train case. I have about 3 of those but I don't have your talent to do anything with them except display them as is, but I do like them.
Please stop by and see me again soon!

Rhea, I didn't think it was lame at all! We don't have our lights up yet though we have had time to drive and see other people's lights. Putting up the lights guarantees me one cranky husband. He hates to do it.
Your tags are so pretty and I love that banner!

I love all your creative works, that little travel case is to die for! I'd take it to my grandma's house! Ok, so maybe only my pj's and toothbrush would fit in it but isn't that all you need at a grandma's house?

Rhea ,What a precious little Poodle case to take to Grandmas... I have relined a case and have another with the backing cut out, ready for my fabric. Hope Santa brings me a new camera, since I dropped mine. (One easy to down load pictures) My Hubby has fallen off the ladder, so we do not always have lights either:)
Hugs, Mary:)

Your posts are always anything but lame!! Love your pretties ~ the tussie mussie & especially those Friendship tags. The traincase is just way too adorable for words! Hope Sharon gets it!!

I want a gingerbread fantasy in our yard, too, but alas, DH doesn't share my vision or enthusiasm. Like you, maybe next year I'll surprise him & do it all by myself! :0)

Big Hugs,
Stephanie
