To : Mine, From : Yours, With Best Love
I collect Vintage Postcards, and Religious Ephemera. Mostly Roses, Violets, Angels, Birds and Scripture. I started collecting about five years ago, due to a lack of room to collect anything larger. :) I am sure that some of you can identify with that !! lol. However, I just couldn't keep them boxed away. I found some old frames that I painted and distressed, added some soft green ( and lavender ) Gingham, and framed them. I had a few pressed pansies in there, but they faded so badly I had to take them out. One of my Angel postcards that I purchased here in a local Antique store is part of a series, so over time I was lucky enough to find two more on eBay. There are three more styles out there, but they were marked way too high, so I will watch and wait and hopefully collect the other ones. I bought a Vintage scrapbook the other day, to house the rest of the papers I have. I currently have them in a photo album, but decided I wanted something Vintage feeling like that would be more appropriate somehow. The pansy card is one of my favorites ( other than Roses, pansies are my Favorite flower ) Its cut lace design is so fragile, abd sweet. But The best part of the card is what the person wrote inside. Christmas, 1911, To Mine, From Yours. That is so romantic and sweetly simple but speaks volumes. I will post a pic of my new album when it comes. * smiles *

The cards are so pretty as well as the scrapbook. I like how you displayed some of them in shabby frames. Oh, when I think of the old greeting cards that were thrown. :(
