LIFE IS NOT MEASURED BY THE NUMBER OF BREATHS WE TAKE, BUT BY THE MOMENTS THAT TAKE OUR BREATH AWAY.

Hi

I guess its time. Have to rejoin the Living and start afresh again. I haven't blogged in SO long, not from lack of want, but just a series of different issues; computer, my own health and that of my family. My Beloved Ed took his final Journey home to be with our Lord on April 15th, 2014. He had complications from a routine surgery that I wont go into. Reliving all of that again is still too fresh and hurtful for me. HOWEVER, I am SO Blessed, not only for the Eleven years we were given together, but that I KNOW that we will be together again in Heaven. He is Dancing with Our Lord as we speak, free from this sinful world and all of the worries that are here. For that I am SO grateful and at Peace. I am my Beloved's, and He is Mine. That will never change, although our addresses are now different.
He had spent the last few years heavily involved in Prison Ministry. It not only Ministered to those behind bars, the guards, the group of men that went in with him, but it ministered to him as he took care of Me, and our Family with all of our medical needs. It refreshed his soul, put that bounce in his step, and kept him happy and excited for every day of life. There is TRULY nothing like being in God's Will, working alongside of Him that Loves us, to give complete Abundant Joy and that Peace that Passes All Understanding. These are not just Words in our Bible, but Promises that Our lord fulfills when we are in step with Him.

I am starting over, once again. I hope to be creating again soon to fill the hours in my day. I have been surrounded by Gods people and His Blessings and Strength, I want for nothing. "Yay though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear No evil, for Thou art with me..................Thy rod and thy Staff, they comfort me." Again, not Words, but promise fulfilled through Him that Loves us.

Hugs to you :)

Rhea

Hello Rhea . .
I have checked your blog so often during the last couple years and knew there must have been something wrong that you had not posted.
I now know why . . . I am truly saddened to hear about your precious Ed ~ Heaven now has a wonderful new soul to share in the joyous peace.
You have such a God given gift for writing and your post was a wonderfully touching tribute to him.
I know that creating all your gorgeous pretties will be such a blessing for you during these times and Ed will be sending you inspirations!!
Hugs to you and your family,
Lynn

I am so sorry. I don't know how people get through all of the pain of loss without our Father being there each step of the way. Ed sounds like an awesome person! He gave so much to others. God has him now and he waits for you to walk over that bridge.

Lots of love,

Becky

Hi Rhea,
Along with so many others that follow your blog, I wondered what happened that you weren't posting anything. My heart is heavy for you, but it also rejoices with you knowing that Ed is now with our Master and experiencing all the wonder of Heaven! It is wonderful to have the peace that only comes from our Father who will comfort you. You have been blessed in so many ways and are a blessing to so many others as well. Your creativity shows God's gifts to you in all that you do. Thank you for sharing them with all of us.
Hugs, Donna

Rhea. I hope you remember me. I'm Connie's daughter from the EBay group. I am now remarried. It's been 5 years since my Bill died. I'm so sorry to hear about Ed. Mom told me today. Time softens the blow but it never goes away. My thoughts are with you.
