Happy Pink Saturday !! I wanted to share some Pretty Pink baskets and to invite you to my 2011 Spring Basket Swap !! As always, a Thank you to our Sweet Miss Beverly !!!!
I kind of missed the whole Easter basket swap this year, so I decided to host one dedicated to all things Spring !!! Sound fun ?
The swap will be the same as last year. You will have TWO partners each and you need to make Two mini baskets from plastic yogurt cups. ( So they will all be the same size. Mine are standard, 3x3x2 ) Then you need to fill each basket with FIVE items, Spring related. Five only, no more, no less. The items don't have to fit in the baskets. But keep them on the smaller side, so that shipping is reasonable. That makes it Easy, and Fair for all. Now, the baskets can be crocheted, paper crafted, fabric covered, any medium you choose, as long as there is a yogurt cup inside. :) Easy Peasy ??? The sign ups close next Wednesday, April 13th, and on Friday, the 15th, I will send you the names of your partners. The baskets will need to be mailed, NO LATER THAN May 6th. Because this is such a short turn around ( 3 weeks ) , it is open to USA participants ONLY, due to the shipping time. We will share our baskets with a Party on Sunday, May 22nd, on our blogs, and/or in the flickr group . I also would like this to be for Bloggers and Flikr members only. So, to sign up, please send me an Email, with your Name, Blog Name, Email, Address and favorite Colors to : sweetnshabbyroses@yahoo.com.I will share a few posts with a tutorial on how to make the baskets and some ideas. Please snatch the Swap Picture and put it on your blog and spread the word !!I am So excited !!!! I hope you can join !! Last year we had 72 swappers, lets all get our swap on !! :) Happy Pink Saturday !!!!
Hugs,
Rhea
