It has been a LONG time since I joined Pink Saturday with Sweet Beverly at How Sweet The Sound Or even POSTED on my blog. I have been pretty sick again. I will spare you all of the details. Other than God is Great and is doing a Work in me and For me, I just know it !!! :) I will share some of that next week :) Please say Hi to our Super Sweet, Fabulous Miss Beverly and all of the Pink Bloggers :)
I don't have much New to show you. Other than these sweet boxes I made for Valentines but never got to list. :) Gee, that makes me Ahead already for Next year, right ?
Aren't they Darling ? I was going to make a few pretty necklaces to fill them with.
I realized that I had some Vintage Pink in my office. Look at these oldies :) Kinda makes you want to Play Secretary :) Lastly, these were made and sold in the shop for the Previous Easter Holidays :)
I am hoping that I can list more of them this week as I can get them done. I will let you know :)
LOTS of my Faux Cakes and Cookies, And the Pretty Iced Baskets I introduced last year. My Sweet Glittered Bunnies....................................
And, These GORGEOUS Velvet Easter Eggs. I have made batches of these each Easter for several years now, and they fly out the door :) I see some in stores now and on Ebay being sold from a manufacturer, Maybe China ? But these are the Original. All Hand made, from start to finish and not just embellished, or machine made .Not complaining though. EVERYONE should have a Velvet Easter Egg :) Poor Miss Rhea cannot supply the whole world, right ? Hee hee :) Scrump-dilly-ishes !!! Velvet is a Treat I tell you. It is SO Luxurious, and it makes you feel really spoiled :) That is probably why I LOVE working with it. Although, I do prefer the Crushed Velvet, over the smooth. I like the way it catches the light and shadows. Also, I dye mine to get just the shades I want. Miss Picky-B*tt here :)
K, Nuff' bout Velvet eggs, sheesh !!!
'Cause I have one more thing to show you. :)
I made these for ME at Christmastime. Yes, I know, Christmas. Don't judge.....I TRULY Love Easter though and LOVE creating for it. It is my Favorite Holiday. :) Even though we know how Christ suffers for ALL of us the week before Easter, Easter day IS what it is all about. He ROSE from the Dead, as Promised. He KEEPS His Promises. It is so that WE can also rise from our old Dead selves. The Icky, sinful part of ourselves. The parts that are Hurt, and Torn and Broken, He will wash NEW, and Clean and Repair. You just Gotta love that, No ? :)
Anyhooo...... I have Truly missed all of my Bloggy friends, and Miss Beverly and all of the Wonderful Pinkness on a Saturday :) :)
