Swap gifts, Prayers answered & Shop update !

Hi Sweet friends !!!! Thank you SO much for all of your prayers and well wishes !! My loved one came through the surgery great ! The Dr. said he didn't see any other tumors and her lymph-nodes looked good, from what he could tell. The tumor had attached to her left neck muscle, so part of her muscle was removed. We will know more when the pathology test gets back. But I am Hopeful and Grateful. :) She was talking an hour after and hasn't stopped since !! It is hard to tell a parent NO, Hush, REST ! lol ! Somehow, even in your 40's they STILL think YOU are the child, :)

I am GLAD to be home, and missed Mr. Ed and my Puppy Children more than you could know ! AND, I might add, my OWN bed, hee hee ! :)

I have been SO negligent in sharing pictures of what my AWESOME, SWEET swap partner Karen sent me. This is for Jenny's vintage vacation swap and my partner was Karen from Recycled Rita. She SPOILED me !! She is such a sweet lady and I am so glad that I have gotten to know her :) She sent me all over on a wonderful, personalized Vacation !!

Look how CUTE she wrapped everything ! Here is what was in the box, OH MY !!!!!
A Trip to New York City ! A sweet vintage NYC scarf, postcards, craft supplies and American theme with a handmade paperweight. :)
Off to the Beaches !! She sent me to Florida and California ! :)LOVE this pretty Pocket she made me with Bathing beauties and yummy aqua fabric and lace :)The sweetest PINK Florida Hankie, tiny vial of seashells and pearls, a shell ornament, vintage pictures and postcards AND how cute is the altered can with vintage bathing buddies on the outside ? ( There is See's candies in there, YUM ! )This little sweetie handmade in the 40's. How stinkin' CUTE is this ? A wee porcelain hand with a REAL birds egg and pretty flowers. This was SUPER pretty !! She made me a Gorgeous rose with a vintage rhinestone in the center. PRETTY !!!And lastly she took me to my future Home ( I wish !! ) Merry Old England !! I LOVE the UK and would happily spend my last days there if I could ! :) Plus, I love all of my English friends across the Pond :) Tea and Biscuits , The Queen , and a Vintage Child's Book of Ships ! Love it !! :)

Thank you SO Much Karen !!! I am honored to have had you as a partner, and now a friend :)

Just a quick update on my Shop. I added some necklaces last night and need to add two more that I made at my loved one's home this week. I have LOTS of vintage treasures that my Mom has found over the last few months to list as well, so will be updating it daily. :)

Anyhooooooo, I am SO glad to be home and I missed you all !! I will be by to say HI, and bring hugs to each of you ( Long overdue !! )

Hugs,

Rhea

Hi Rhea. I'm so glad to hear that your Mother is recovering and that you are home safe. Isn't it funny how the tides turn and we start caring for our parents.

And your goodies from Karen are just too wonderful. That's one of the best swap goodies I've seen in a long time. I know you were giddy with excitement.

Your necklaces are so gorgeous. Talent, talent, talent in bushel fulls.
Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs...Tracy :)
