Angelic Accents Wedding Party !

I'm Late ! :) Welcome to the Wedding Blog Party, Hosted by Sweet Steph at Angelic Accents. This is her first party to Host and I am so delighted to attend my sweet friends party !! :)

I have had three weddings. Well, ONE wedding and two quickie weddings. The first to my son's father at a Las Vegas chapel, and the second at the Justice of the Peace. So when I met my FOREVER Husband, I asked him if we could have a Church wedding, with friends and family. He too had had a Justice of the Peace wedding before and wanted a nice wedding as well.

It was the second most Wonderful day of my life. :) First being the day I had my son. It was Heaven. We had a pretty tight budget, as he was relocating here, and I had just started my Faux Finishing business out of my apartment. But it ALL came together beautifully. The only thing a bit off, was my dress. I bought it at a second hand store and it was a few sizes too big. But I loved it anyways. :) We had a pretty cake, dinner at a local restaurant with our friends and family. One of the best parts, my son gave me away :) And, a dear friend, Pastor Steve married us at our beloved Church, Calvary Chapel, Spring Valley.
Ed and I took Communion, and invited Our Lord into Our Marriage to be the Center and Head. In the almost 7 years we have been married, we KNOW that Our Lord is Center to all we do and has Blessed us Mightily. What a difference THIS marriage to a man chosen for me by God is. I now know what being Cherished is. :) :) :)

This is our Cake topper and my Grandmothers pearls I wore.
Thank you Ed, You are my Knight in Shining Armour, and my whole life was just moments, leading up to you :)

I thought I would share SOME of my wedding dollies. :) I have more, but they are boxed up until my craft room is finished as they are going in there. :)
My sweet 1950's Cissette bride. I just love her :)
Thank you Sweet Steph, for hosting this lovely party and the memories that this day has brought :)

Hugs,

Rhea

Rhea, don't feel bad, I was late also and half of my things are packed away at my spouse's house. We are currently seperated, but we hope to change that. We have been married 39 years and we just don't want to throw it all away. Love all your beautiful things. Hugs, Pat

Beautiful bride my friend.

God doesn't count how many times it takes for us to get it right. It's the end result that matters to Him.

Knowing He's in the middle of your marriage makes all the difference.

Love to you~ You look soo incredibly beautiful. Handsome hubby, too!

Hi Sweet Rhea! Love seeing your wedding photos again. You looked so beautiful in that lovely suit with your grandmother's pearl necklace and that gorgeous hair of yours! AND that gorgeous man! :0) I didn't realize that Jeff gave you away ~ how special! What was the minister telling ya'll in that picture? Too cute about the smeared cake-faces! :0) Your wedding cake topper is so pretty and so white still ~ Mine is all yellowed, but then I'm O..L..D, and you aren't!

Now those dolls are creating serious lust here!! Do you "re-dress" your dollies ~ they just look pristene and perfect! And that groom dollie (next to the Mae West wannabe) is stealing my heart, too! Hurry and finish your craft room so I can see more!!!

I'm so very glad you were able to join us today for the WEDDING BLOG PARTY! I treasure our special friendship! Hope you are feeling well!

Love,
Stephanie

Rhea your grandmother's pearl are my cup of tea! I love pearls! I think they are the classic jewelry for all occasions!

I have been sick with Vertigo and my migraines. I wanted to do a bigger post but was cut short by time!

As you well know it does take three to make a marriage work and you and I know who that third person is don't we? Come see me soon. Hugs Anne

Oh, Miss Rhea- I LOVED your wedding story and pictures. I have never had a wedding as we eloped, but I always wanted one.Thank you so much for sharing. We were going to renew our vows on our 25th anniversary and have a reception, and I got really sick, so the money I had saved went toward medical bills. Now, we've been married 36 years. (((HUGS)))

Rhea, you two are such a beautiful couple, inside and out. I wish you a lifetime of happiness together. I love the pretty Cissette too. She is one of my favorites. I own one of the brides in your photo. She is in a plastic bubble and is like the dollies my dad used to bring to us.
