Sweet Patisserie

Hi Girls :) I have been so ill again this last week, till today, and I actually managed to finish a few items on my UFO list !! Yippee !! Still have Pile-age in the Sweet n Shabby Home, but a few at a time right ? ( Or a large bulldozer ! lol !! :) )

I sold a few cakes last week, so I made a few more. More pretty Cake Stands. :) ( I have a secret hidden closet where little elves stockpile vintage china for me, and only find the very best with sweet pink roses :) I must put more gingerbread in their stockings this Christmas :) )( Warning, Crooked Photographer, not crooked plates, lol !! :) )

Went with Hubby Thrifting yesterday, but didn't find a thing. I managed to pinch a nerve in my neck getting into the car, so that put a damper on the day. I was however rewarded with Tiny Red Velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting for my angst :) I have NEVER had Red Velvet cake, so I have a new Obsession, Errr, innocent appreciation :) lol !!!

Also, I finished a wee birdhouse that I started months ago. It sold immediately, and good thing as I was making room for it to KEEP. ( Just say NO Rhea :) ) I have to say, hands down, My Birdhouses are one of my most Favorite things to paint. I have always loved little birds and secretly wished I was one. One of my favorite Springtime events is when the hummingbirds come. I could happily listen to the chatter and singing of the sparrows outside of my craft room all day long. :)I am also de-stashing some of the overload, errr, Treasures, in my craft room. I found BAGS of flowers, so I am sorting those to get listed. Nothing fancy, just cant throw them away. Do you have stuff like that , that you keep saving for Some day ? Well, my Someday is slowly turning into an episode of Hoarders, lol ! :)
Well, That is my Mid week ramblings. I am thinking about hosting another swap, maybe a small Diorama ? Using a Pencil box ? Does that sound fun ? I know most of you are probably vacationing this summer, but for those of us stuck at home, this might be fun. Please leave me any ideas you might think of. Marie ? Garden setting ? Our studios ? Dollhouse room ? You get the idea, send me some suggestions :)

Thanks so much for the Roses love. I have decided like many of you suggested, to do a few of each, hangers, boxes, and baskets :)
