Pink Saturday

Happy Pink Saturday !! Hosted by Sweet Beverly each week at How Sweet The Sound.

Just a few pinks this week. Have had Costo pain and inflammation in my legs all week, so have been mostly in bed. But did manage to get out one day with Hubby and go Thrifting. The only thing I found was this sweet Pink vintage baby planter. :) I think it is a Bear ?
We only went to two thrift stores as I was having problems with my legs, so he took me to a movie as I wasn't ready to go home yet, the weather is SO nice here right now. We saw, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" Oh my, what a cute movie. Took me right back to Middle School and all of the insecurities of the Tween years. We laughed the whole way through. :)

A pretty pink vintage wallpaper box made for my giveaway winner, way back when. Just finished it LAST week !! Talk about SLOW. Thank goodness she is the Sweetest most patient lady ever. Hope she liked it :)

I made this decoupaged tin about 6 years ago for Easter. Still love it today. Gotta love Mod Podge !! :)

And lastly, a pretty vintage Easter hat. :) One of my friends sent me this last year to take apart and use on my artwork, but I just cant. It is way too sweet and a piece of History as well.Well, That is my Pinkage for this Saturday. I hope you visit Beverly and each of the Pink Posters this week. :)

Hugs,

Rhea

Oooops, sugar, sorry to hear about th' pain. I know how it affects you. You've given me an idea. Mod podge some old tins I have. I was going to give them to the thrift store but maybe I can do something else. That looks like a little puppy to me, chick. But the giveaway is darling. But you know how I just love all your handmade items, right?! Get to feeling well soon.

xoxo,
Connie

Maybe we'll go see that movie. I need a night "out" with all that's going on in the world. *Sigh*.....

I hope your legs are feeling better now. It's hard to feel poorly when the weather is so nice and you want to get out after the long winter months. My niece is into the wimpy kid books right now but hasn't seen the movie yet, I'll tell her you gave it two thumbs up.
Question about the ModgePodge? I recently started using it and am having issues keeping the wrinkles out of things. Do you have any suggestions? It would be greatly appreciated!
Your little planter is adorable and the Easter box and hat are gorgeous as well. Happy Pink Saturday and have a great weekend!

Happy Pink Saturday! Had to continue reading the other blogs. You are so crafty. Sorry to hear about the pain in your legs. I know where you are coming from. I had emergency back surgery for an abcess on my spine two years ago and it greatly affected my back and legs. Your husband sounds as sweet as mine. I'm so glad there are men ou there that truly care for their partner. Hang in there!
