Sweet Pastel Thrifty Finds

I haven't shown any thrifty finds in awhile. I always gravitate towards the sweet colors of spring. This week I have been cooped up in the house, we have had lots of Rain , Yay ! And have had a Costochondritis flare up in my chest, Yick ! That and the leg pain. Anyhoo, I love to look around and see all of the happy colors in our home. I tend to like pale sherbet colors for myself. Don't care for the dirty, grungy look, nor the Bright Easter egg colors, and especially not BEIGE !!! ( Yes, I realize that our living room is painted beige, and the sofa is beige, and, and, lol !! But I really don't care for it. Why you ask ?

Well, when I was a Faux finisher, Beige and Reds were the two most requested colors. From yellow, pink, and grey shades of beige ( tan, mocha, taupe, yada, yada, yoo ! ) and bright candy apple to dark burgundy reds. They are PRETTY, however working with those colors was quite stifling for me. Give me, Pinks and soft yellows, sunshine and Roses on a Spring day............
Lavender, soft violet, blush, colors of MY rainbow.........................

Sky blue, Robin's egg, Lily of The Valley, soft pink, soft peachy pink, chubby rosy cheeks..............................................

Can you smell the spring flowers ? :) I LOVE the bulbs, Tulips, Hyacinth, Daffodils, Iris, things that really don't grow here :(

Working on my Valentine tree. It needs MORE stuff on it. Just haven't decided what yet :) I found ten or twelve of these sweet pink and aqua vintage German angels. Are they not sweet ? :)

I found this little girl in an old box I was sorting through the other day. My Great Auntie made her for me. She is only 5" tall, her little head is about 3/4". She needs a new dress. Hers is icky and old. My Aunt also made her the necklace too. I have had her for about 38 years. Her tiny hands and one of her feet broke off and were lost years ago ( I Played with ALL of my dolls :) ) But her little face is still so precious, although needing a bath. I dont know if she was old to begin with, I really think she was, she sure looks it. Anyhoo, she is out of her box now, to treasure and enjoy ! :)

I am SLOWLY returning emails, and have mailed out half of the give away, but still have to finish that sweet box ! ( Bad me :( )

Anyhoo !! Hope that you have been Blessed this week :) :) :)

Hugs,

Rhea
