Mid week Goodies. :)

Well, This post is dedicated to the Mid week Blues :) Or Pinks !!! lol !!! I am SO behind in showing off some goodies that I have bought over the last few months. EBay was a gold mine right after Christmas with gorgeous plates going for 99 cents plus $2-3 shipping !!! Wow !! So, I slowly have filled up our home, with treasures to keep and some to sell. That and our weekly Thrifting outing. That is my One day out and I can always manage to find a few great things to bring home :) I found these plates and roses dish on eBay. There are three plates altogether. I bought them to go with my cupcake sets, but am thinking I need two of them for the guest bath. Are they sweet or what ? And the dish with the pretty rose will make a lovely soap dish. :)

Got the Bunny tin for 25 cents last Saturday and now I must make some REAL sugar cookies for my family to fill it up. :) Is this stinkin' cute or what ?

Speaking of cookies. I restocked my store with like a gazillion cookies !! :)

And Vintage finds. Love these old hand painted plates. But as you can probably tell, I just have WAY too many of them. :)

Look at this antique crocheted lace. Oh My Gosh !! There is 11 feet of it. It must have lined a sheet or curtain or something. It was quite icky when I found it, all yellowed and stained. But I bleached it ( Yep, a Big no no , I know !! ) And it came out just beautiful !! It does have a few tiny spots left that didn't come out, but probably will with another cleaning. Sweet !!!!!
I found this great old Easter candy box and embellished it with Roses and the BEST pink and pearl vintage brooch !!! EEEK, This was SO pretty. It sold pretty quick. The Easter candy boxes are quite hard to find, and this one had the prettiest pink foil with a floral design on it. It is going to a Wonderful Artist, so I am a bit intimidated, I hope she likes it :)
Thank you SO much for all of the love and support. I know that Prayers and well wishes work as I have truly coasted thru this illness with such ease and strength. I never wanted my blog to be about hard or sad things, we have SO much of that going on in this world right now. But decided early on that someone who is also having the same type of symptoms I have might benefit so I chose to put all of that in here. I TRULY would like to focus on all things Pretty. All things Soft, Pink ( and aqua, hee hee !! ) and a gentle happy side of Life as I truly believe that it is out there, we just need but to look. Not THINGS per se, but all THINGs were made by people and inspired by God, so lets enjoy them all, without making them the Focus. Does that make sense ? There is SO much Beauty and Peace in this great world that we live in. One of my favorite verses in the Bible is ; Phil 4:v 8 Finally Brethren, whatsoever things are True, whatsoever things are Honest, whatsoever things are Just, whatsoever things are Pure, whatsoever things are Lovely, whatsoever things are of good report ; if there be any Virtue, and if there be any Praise, think on these things.

I LOVE that !! :)

Hugs,

Rhea

I hope that they will come up with a diagnosis soon for you. I pray that it is not MS. I was tested for that too. I didn't like the conductive nerve tests that they did. That was a few years ago and they ruled MS out. My legs hurt so bad sometimes that I don't want to walk or even get out of bed.(Like today) I have to force myself to get up and go to work. I go back to my cardiologist this afternoon for some test results and I am nervous. I feel like I am falling apart most of the time. I think that it is good for us to post when we are not feeling well. When I read your posts, I know that I am not alone in all of this.

All of your things are beautiful, as always.

Hugs,
Lee Laurie

DEAR MISS RHEA,
BOY CAN I TELL YOU ABOUT THE PAIN IN YOUR LEGS AND FALLING-MY DR. WAS FEARFUL I HAD MS....I DON'T TALK ABOUT ME AS MY DAUGHTER IS ILL/CANCER AGAIN FOR THE 3RD TIME.
FINALLY AFTER ALL THE TESTS THEY DECIDED IT WAS NOT MS BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE THE BLACK HOLE IN MY BRAIN....I KNOW A GENTLEMEN WHO HAD SYMPTOMS AND THEY WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND THEN 10 YEARS LATER HE HAD THE BLACK HOLE.
I HAVE DAYS IT IS SO DIFFICULT I CAN BARELY MAKE IT.....THEY DECIDED DUE TO MY DIABETES I HAVE NEUROPATHY OF THE LOWER EXTREMITIES AND HANDS AND RIB CAGE AREA...ALSO THEY SAID FIBROMYALGIA.
THEY PLACED ME ON NEURONTIN AND CYMBALTA.........THEY DON'T KNOW WHY BUT THE ANTI DEPRESSANT CYMBALTA HELPS ON NERVE PAIN.
I LOVE ALL YOUR ROSE AND VIOLET PLATES....I LOVE YOUR BEAUTIFUL BUNNY TIN BUT MOST OF ALL, WE CAN FACE TOMORROW BECAUSE HE LIVES.
I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING TO KNOW YOU BETTER AND I WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU.
I LOVE THE LITTLE BASKETS THAT WERE SEWED TOGETHER IN PINK...SO BEAUTIFUL.
I ALSO USE CLOROX TO REMOVE YELLOW AND STAINS...I HAVE NEVER RUINED A THING...CLOROX DID BEAUTIFULLY.
THAT IS BEAUTIFUL LACE.
COME VISIT ME ANY TIME BUT ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU FEEL BAD.
I HAVE A GOOD LISTENING EAR AND I KNOW THE FATHER WE SERVE...JESUS...THERE IS NO OTHER NAME
WISHING YOU AND YOUR FAMILY A JOYOUS EASTER, FULL OF BLESSINGS.
