Vintage Stocking Swap

I signed up for the Vintage Stocking swap hosted by Follow Your Bliss, Miss Mary Ann last year and had so much fun with my partners, Lolly and Cathy, that I signed up for 2008 and was SO excited and happy to get partnered up with the Sweetest Lady, Miss Sherry. She is a Beautiful lady with a very big heart and one of the most gorgeous homes I have ever seen. I admit, I was intimidated as all get out. Her taste is SO perfect and she got stuck with me.

She Spoiled me, can you say S P O I L E D me ?? Each package was so beautifully wrapped. Of course I ripped them open and then thought, Gee, should have taken pictures of the wrapping !!! My Bad !!

First I opened a Birthday present that she sent, can you believe she sent me Birthday AND Christmas ? I told you I got Spoiled !!! She made me this awesomely sweet vintage mug with a sweet birdie and lovely old pink millinery. It even had my name on it !! :)
And this beautiful old compact, wrapped in vintage laces and embellished with a hand made tag.
And my Stocking. Is this Cute or what ?? I LOVE Red and Green. We decorate the living room in Reds and greens for Christmas, with lots of Vintage 30's, 40's and 50's decorations. Our Family room is in pinks and soft aqua, so she sent me goodies in both colors. The Stocking even has my initial on it :)

Love the old Santa stocking, sleigh and vintage reindeer. I collect vintage Santa's, so I cant tell you how thrilled I was to open the box and find these in here .


A snow lady with roses. She had two packs of Chocolate and Butterscotch fudge coated Georgia Pecans inside. They lasted about an hour, and I cant even begin to tell you how YUMMY they were !! :) Isn't she cute ?

And Angels, Love , Love these. These two hand made darlings. The Pink one has the neatest feeling, All Fuzzy and soft with its vintage chenille curly cues. Gosh I wish they still made chenille like that !! :)
And lastly, This was probably my favorite thing she sent , next to the birdie mug she made for me. Vintage 1940's angels in their original box.
There were a few more goodies in the box, if you enlarge the picture that has it all grouped together. She made tags for most of the packages, as well as embellished a wee fairy doll for me. And a pretty Ostrich feather decoration too.

Thank you SO much Sherry, I enjoyed getting to know you and just love how sweet you are. You Really Blessed me and I appreciate and love every single thing you so thoughtfully picked out for me. :)

Tomorrow I will show a few other goodies I got in the mail, and the items I sent to Sherry :)
