Pink Saturday

Welcome to another Pink Saturday hosted by Sweet Miss Beverly, of How Sweet The Sound. :) It is SO good to be back online, and working. I have started a BUNCH of Valentine items that I will be showing in a few days :) I am SO excited, I cant hardly stand it !! :) I have immensely enjoyed this precious time with my family and spending time with My Lord, reading my Bible, and a time in prayer . I feel refreshed and ready to start this new year :)

Last year has been one of the hardest in my life. I truly didn't appreciate good health , till it was gone. Waking up, feeling great, please don't ever take that for granted. I cherish my "Good" days and am learning to approach things I enjoy with reckless abandon. :) No Fear ! that is my motto for this new year. I started a few more medications, Joy. lol !! My immune system is overworking and attacking tissue, so I am on an immune suppressant. So, Lets just pray I don't get the Flu, lol !! I am going to approach each day with Wonder, Gratefulness and Joy this year :)

I have received some lovely gifts in the mail that I am dieing to share, but am waiting for a swap partner to receive hers , before I open them and take pictures of her gifts and others :) So I will do a special post on that later :) Ok, Now on to a few Pink things. I thought I would share my newly forming collection of Vintage Baby Planters. I keep finding these when we are out and have to bring them home. :)

Are they Cute or what ???? :) I found this sweet little Pink cup with roses and cherries on it the other day. I will be making it into a pincushion. :)

And lastly, this isn't pink, but it is so pretty I just have to share. My mom got this for me for Christmas. It is just beautiful, and it reminds me of a set of four that she has that my Great Grandmother painted. My Great Grandmother had a group of ladies over every week and they china painted, gossiped and drank tea. This was back in the 40's. I wonder how they had the plates fired ? A lot of these pretty old painted plates were from the 40's and painted by housewives. I wish I could paint like that !!! lol !! :)

Well, That is all of my Pinkness for today. BUT.... My house is overrun with it right now. I think St. Valentine threw up in my living room, lol !!! Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope that you are BLESSED in a BIG way today :)

Hugs,

Rhea

What do you do with all those planters! I would have no room to store them, LOL! You must have a huge house! They sure are cute, though.

I can hardly wait to see what you've created!
I wanted to let you know I'm starting a bible study on my blog on Jan. 15th on the book of Titus. No driving or getting dressed up to leave the house! You can do this one in your pj's in the comfort of your home. I hope you will join us and bring a friend.

Bless your heart - I hope you are feeling better. I will keep you in my prayers! I had a little lamb book end that looked like your vase, not sure what happened to it but I loved it's sweet little face.

I had to comment on your blog after finding you on the list for pink saturday. My mom's name was Rhea - it is so unusual to find someone else with that name I just had to comment.

I will keep you in my heart.
