Pink Saturday ~ Guilloche Hearts

Hi !! Wishing you a Happy Pink Saturday !! I am up to my eyeballs in Valentine art that I have made, see below, but wanted to share something really special to me. I wish I had taken pictures in the daylight so you could see the beautiful color of these. My Dear friend Sharon paints these tiny hearts and sells them on her website. This is truly a lost art, as original Guilloche enameled hearts were painted many years ago. She is part of just a handful of people that make them in the whole world these days. And in my opinion, one of the best.
I started the silver bracelet a few years ago and it is almost done. This one is all Pink and Aqua blue hearts. My very favorite one is the little bluebird in the center.
Keep in mind that these are the smallest hearts that she paints and each one is about the size of a dime. ( she makes all sizes and has some large ones to wear on a chain ) Look at the wreath one on the far right, each tiny rose is about the size of a pen tip.

The round one on the left was my Grandmothers. I sent it to Sharon and begged her to put a rose on it for me. :) Isn't it adorable ?
She sent me this gold one for my Birthday last year and I am slowly adding to it. I think I will do all colors on it. The heart in the center with the cross my husband gave me when we were dating. How special to have that on there :)I cant tell you how much I treasure these. I am praying for a Granddaughter to pass it down to some day. These are definitely heirloom pieces. She just stocked up for Valentines day, so please go visit her store if you get a chance :)

And a big Hug and Hello to all of the Pink Saturday participants , hosted by our Sweet Beverly of How Sweet the Sound !! :)

Hugs,

Rhea
