Friendship

Gosh, where do I begin ? I haven't posted in a while. I have been burning the midnight oil with the last of the Seasons offerings for sale, and filling special orders. I just added the final items for the Season to my Etsy store and will be shutting it down soon, ( Probably Monday morning ) to spend time on our own Holiday Preparations. ( But I will be checking emails for any shipping concerns, so I will still be available for that, as well as Blogging with my sweet friends, just no more product, I am Pooped !! ) This is the last I am adding to my Patisserie Shoppe for 2008 and once they are gone, that is it, till I re-open in January.

I want to thank each of you for making this venture a big success for us. I have made a great dent in my Medical bills this last month, and I cant even begin to tell you what a relief that is for me. Really though, Thank you, I am truly Blessed, and couldn't do what I do without the support and kindness of others !! :)

I have been so Blessed with some of the friendships that I have made online. Some have grown very deep and I consider myself Blessed beyond measure when I think of how lucky I am. I know that there are a lot of lonely people in this world, and especially through the Holiday's so I am SO thankful for those that The Lord has chosen to travel for this time with me on this Journey. Both old friends, and new ones and those yet to come. :)

I was Blessed mightily in the mail by some of these friends in the last week or so. Firstly Sweet Deb, Garage Sale Gal sent me a little thank you box with goodies . She won my 100th post sweet treat giveaway, and the sweet girl sent me these paper goodies that she made :A sweet little handmade Journal, sparkly JOY tag, a handmade card and this sweet hanky as she seems to have caught on to my obsession of vintage hankies !! lol !!! This was all so unbelievably thoughtful and special, Thank you SO much Deb !!!

Next is Cerri, of Little Pink Studio. We did a private swap and this is my stash that she sent. I was SO happy to get this, as I have been trying for about a year now to get a piece of Pink and White Dotted Swiss fabric for a lampshade I have wanted to recover. She was such a sweetheart and sent me some, along with a pack of other vintage flocked fabrics that I wanted to faint when I saw them they are so lovely. :) I believe she carries fabric packs in her store. She also sent me some wee pink and white reindeer !!! How sweet are they ? and some of the prettiest lady stickers. The graphics are lovely and I cant wait to use them. There was some candy, but I seem to have misplaced it, lol !!
Thank you SO much Miss Cerri !! :)

Next is Carla. She is a beautiful Christian Lady, I haven't seen a picture of her, I am talking about her heart. :) She became a Grandmother this year and I am SO excited and happy for her !! She sent me a picture of the sweet Miss Baby Emma, but I wont post that online for safety purposes. She sent me this gorgeous iron basket with lots of prisms on it for my Birthday. It was stuffed with beaded Victorian appliques, lily of the valley, a sweet white dove and all kinds of embellishments. The card is so sweet and just my colors, as are the pretty decorative napkins :)
Thank you SO much Carla, yes for all of the goodies, but more for your sweet friendship. I have that pretty basket in my living room for all to see, and me to enjoy :)

And lastly, I am not going to name this friend, as I don't want to embarrass her . But I do want to Thank her for always being there, being my Rock, my best girl and such a HUGE , GINOURMOUS Blessing to me. I am a pain in the , well, you know, and she puts up with me. :)
She sent me all of these Sommerset Magazines, and an Artful Blogger, and a Victorian graphics magazine with a Cd of more gorgeous images inside. Wow, I was SO overwhelmed and just sat there and cried when I opened this. :) I dont own a Sommerset magazine. They aren't quite in our budget. I stand in Michael's and look while the clerks give me " The Look" you know, like are you gonna BUY that Look ?? lol !!Anyhow, I plan on pouring through them on my Christmas break and savoring all of the beauty within :) She also sent me these battenburg pieces, wood cutouts and the lovely cherub frame :) Cant wait to display that !! :)

Ok, and IF that all wasn't enough, This same friend, sent me ANOTHER big box just jammed full of vintage millinery from old hats she had. The shoebox box was Full. There were two vintage hats in there, one with Pink flowers and one with Berries. :)

I am SO unbelievably and truly touched by the kindness of others. This has been such a rough year for me, and I truly wouldn't have made it, but for the Love of My Lord, My Family and Friends :)

Thank you :)

Hugs,

Rhea

You really are blessed, my sweet chick, more than you know. What delicious goodies you've been given, but the true "giving" is what you include with each item purchased. I absolutely LOOOOOVE your faux pastries. They are the absolutely best from anyone........

Hi Rhea...

I was here the other day...but it doesn't look like I left a message!?! All your "goodies" are so pretty!!!

Glad to know you're feeling a bit better. I am too...although, even after 7 weeks...my right foot, the worst injured, is still sore and it still swells. The Doc says it's worse than having my foot broken...no surprise to her that it's taking this long to get better, I guess.

~Blessings,
Jan

Love your faux pastries. It looks like Santa was trying to lighten his load a bit at your house before he headed out on Christmas Eve. Isn't that what Our Lord's greatest command was "to love one another", what better season than now.
