Show and Tell Sunday

Cerri is Hosting this weeks Show and Tell Sunday. And she asked to show our Vintage Art Bits. Well, My Art bits are currently all over the house. I have been an artistic maniac this week and I don't have one pretty little "Bit" vignette to show, But..... My Bestest Friend in the whole wide world sent me a big bag of the greatest old rhinestone necklace pieces for my projects a few months ago. So I am sharing these. Let me say this, When someone sends you a bag of these :

You KNOW you are really loved. Isnt that the Best kind of friendship, when you give the best you have to make another happy ? And Boy was I happy !! I sat and played with them for hours that day. I did use some for some vintage foofed bottles, but am hoarding the rest for now till another artistic whim hits me. :)
So, that is ALL that I have to share in the Bits department.

But, in all of my Cupcake Frenzy, I have forgotten to show you some of my latest Flea Market finds. These are all staying here with me. :) I found another old mirrored vanity tray. It is staying gold, as it will look lovely in my vanity area near my larger tray with the green teaset I showed you a few weeks ago. I just love these and this one was only $4. :)

I pounced on these. The one on the left has a small chip on his ear, so I puttyed it and will touch him up good as new. These are going in my Pink and Aqua kitchen, in the window. :)

I found this little Lefton wall plaque. She is beat up, missing a hand, and her head and foot have been reglued. But I dont care. I will touch her up, add a few more rhinestones and she will fit somewhere in this house. WAY too cute to pass up, and only 50 cents. :)

That is all I have found lately, OOOOH, No, actually I found a vintage ballerina tutu girls costume also. WAY SWEET !! I will show you that next time. :)

Please go visit Little Pink Studio to see all of the wonderful vintage art bits !! :)

And dont forget to sign up for my giveaway !!

Hugs,

Rhea

What kind of putty do you use on your little china pieces, I have a puppy that needs a touch up on his ear. Did I tell you thank you for your comment on "copy" I'm going to check on this on Monday. She actually bought a couple of birdies from me. I have her address, so I'm going to write her when I have some kind of copyright in my hand. Laurie

Oh no! I know whatever you make will be lovely, but I despair a bit when I see old things like necklaces or hankies, 'gutted' to make a project. I use my hankies and wear my rhinestones! lol I'm a tad stuck in the past that way. I'd love to see photos of your bottles if you have any. Thanks for sharing your rhinestones with us!

Your Pink Saturday post also showed lots of lovely pink. The bird houses are so cute. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

I remember getting an Ivy plant in a planter like one of those little sheep when my (33yo) son was born.

Hey Miss Rhea!
Oh what fun...seeing all your pretty finds! That is the most unique little figurine with the girl in the tub... I love it...I bet you can cover up the hand being gone. To tell you the truth, I didn't even notice it, until you mentioned it. It's sooo cute and what a deal! Have a great night!
