Show and Tell Sunday

Cerri and Cindy are hosting Show and Tell Sunday's again, Yippee !! They took a little summer break and are Back !! :) I have missed looking at all of the pretties we collect. This week it is Vintage Aprons. I confess, I have a few more tucked away, but that would have involved washing, starching and ironing them to show, and I haven't had that much time this week due to First Friday's, Fibro, and Baking some Pasta for my Sweet Hubby. However, this one is the absolute Best one I have and my favorite. It was my Dear Great Aunt Rozie's and I cherish it. It hangs in my kitchen so that I can see it every day. :)
It is immaculate. She never used it. I wouldnt either, it is too pretty with its pink rose fabric, Pink Ric Rac and Sheer Organdy ruffle and tieback. I just LOVE this !! :)

I did make two boxes this week. That was all I got done, well and a few more ornaments. This first box is a gift for someone special who just got a new Grandbaby Boy. :) I am making one in pink for another Sweet friend who just got a Grandbaby Girl last month. :) I used vintage baby giftwrap and some goodies from my baby packs on Etsy, painted the buggy blue and glittered it. I hope they like them !! :) Gosh, when will it be My turn !!! :)

This second one is for my Etsy Shop. It is decadently French and very sweet !! I used blue crushed velvet, vintage millinery, the most gorgeous pearl and rhinestone earring, venise lace and the sweetest little French Boy figurine that I converted into a pincushion. This would be a great catch all box for those old sewing odds and ends dont ya think ? I just LOVE this. :) I glittered the flowers and the pins. and added old pearls as well. I just love crushed velvet, it is so easy to work with and I love the way it catches the light. :)

I also added a few more hearts to my Etsy Shop. :)

So, that is my good stuff for the week. Please go visit all of the other Show and Tell participants. Dont forget about my Vintage Wallpaper Giveaway below !!! Winner announced for that next Friday. :)

Hugs,

Rhea

What sweet little boxes you created. You have so much talent and I am so jealous. That lovely little blue box with the pin cushion on top is just the sweetest and would look perfect in my blue home office. Come on over to my place for a tour. I posted photos of my office on my blog today for Blue Monday. You will see just how nice it would fit in.
