Pink Saturday #8 and The Other Half of the Pink Palace

Welcome to another Pink Saturday Hosted by Beverly at How Sweet the Sound.

This is the second part of my post on Our Pink Palace ( Our bedroom, hee hee !! ) The other half of the room is on the post below, please scroll down and take a look. :)
Ok, as promised, this is the pretty side of our bedroom. No, not the big black gaping hole of the TV, lol !! But, my precious treasures that start my morning with a smile. :)My pretty China. :) My mom bought this set for me at a yard sale for $25. Can you believe that ?? At the time it was a service for eight, and over the last few years , thanks to eBay, is now a service for ten. Forgive me, I haven't finished ironing all of my vintage napkins, so the bottom shelves dont show any. I Just Love this set, and bedroom, schmedroom, if something makes you happy, then surround yourself with it.
One of my Vintage Hankie holders full of sweet old hankies. :) I have one right now on eBay for sale, pictures of it are on the bottom of this post. :)
I found this great old window curbside in Los Angeles . Someone was remodeling an old house, and this chippy old thing was just laying on the curb. Well, I jumped out of the car real fast, grabbed that window and said " Floor it honey " lol !! And Hubby manuvered the getaway car out of the hood. :) lol !! This sweet antique childs violin was painted by my friend Claudia, of Rock Springs Cottage. I LOVE it !!! :)
Couple of painted roses plates. I Love the one on the bottom, it says " Give us this day, Our daily Bread " Love my sweet Bunny holder. :)
Sweet embroidered pillows. The big one I made and the smaller one in front my dear Sweet Chick Connie made. :)
My old pink lamp. Found this in an antique store here in town. :)
The bottom roses picture is a petit point that my Dear Mom made me last Christmas. :) It has Teeny Tiny stitches. :)
And that concludes our tour. :) This is my Happy Place. :)

Here is a picture of the pretty PINK hanky holder I have on ebay right now. :)

And, Next Friday is our next First Friday's Sale, Gosh I am SO excited !! I will be giving our link on Wednesday to our Flikr group, so that you can get a sneak peek of some of the goodies that the ladies are offering. :)
Also, I am having a giveaway in honor of our second First Friday's event !! I am offering a few yards , yep YARDS , of vintage wallpaper. Details next Friday for that.

I am still taking sign ups for First Friday's. so if you want to join please send me an email. Details are HERE about First Friday's. :)

Happy Pink Saturday to all and a special thanks to Miss Beverly for being our wonderful Host !!! :) Please go say Hi to all of the other participants. :)

Hugs,

Rhea

Happy Pink Saturday Rhea! I love your Pink Palace, it's so pretty and soft! WHo would have ever thought to use china in a bedroom! So pretty and I love the shelf it's on. Great use for the old windown, I have tons of them that we took out of this old house when we remodled it. I've got to start using them! I told hubby don't part with them, I'm going to do something with them! I love that needlework your Mom did!

I am debating on wether I just sell some Halloween creations for First Friday or some other lovelies.

I sold 2 out of 5 things so that was great.

Can you email the name of the Flicker group so I can add it. You might have already but I do not remember.

Happy Pink Saturday and I am so looking forward to Friday....I even made my own purchases last month too~it was so fun~Thank you.
