Pink Saturday #4

Welcome to another Pink Saturday Hosted by Sweet Beverly at How Sweet The Sound

You might be wondering what the deal with the candle on the pretty crystal plate is. Well, I needed something large for the center of our dresser. It seems to keep my sweet hubby from stacking sock and other junk on there, lol. So I snatched a pretty plate from the cupboard and voila !!!

Nice big centerpiece. Fluffy pink roses, crystal and the romance of candles. Ahhhhhh, Sweet !! And...It worked, no more junk on the dresser. :) lol !!

The other day I asked my hubby to join me in the sitting room for a cup of decaf. Well, I am embarrassed to admit this, but there is just piles of stuff all over this house ( And here I wont give the poor guy some messy sock pile-age, lol !! ) So Hubby takes the baskets ( Pretty vintage baskets, that I had taken pictures of and didn't put away when I was done, :) ), and magazines and my blanket and, and....You are getting the picture, right ?? And stacks them on the back of the couch, leaning onto the wall so that he has a place to sit. And one of the baskets keeps sliding down and hits him in the head like three times. I said, " Gee honey, I sure got a lot of Foof " lol, And he looks at me and says, " I think you need a Foof laxative " lol !!!!!! Well, Yes, I probably do. Ok, this REALLY has not a thing to do with Pink Saturday, but come on, Husbands are like kids some times and say the cutest things, lol !! So I just had to share. :)

Ok, Pink Stuff. Angels from my Sweetest Great Aunt. I cherish them. :)

More angels I bought last Christmas. :) Love these, :)

One of my China patterns. I had a partial set of 8 that my mom had bought for me at a yard sale, and over the years I have made it into a complete set for 10 from perusing Ebay. :) You can find just about anything on Ebay !! :) These are our Easter dishes. :) I keep inheriting sets of dishes, so I use a different set for each Holiday. I think things should be used and loved on. :)

My sweet Pink and Lavender Pansies lamp, also from my Great Aunt. My name is Rhea and I am a Lampoholic. lol !! But this is my Most favorite ever one !! :) There was a pair, but Hubby #1 broke the other one. :(

And that is my Pink Saturday !! :) Please go say Hi to Bev and see all the wonderful Pinkness going on today !! :)

Hugs,

Rhea

Hello Rhea,Your story about your Hubby reminds me of the movie...Mr.Blandings Builds His Dream House. With Cary Grant where Myrna Loy put his socks in a basket that keep falling on his head:)

Good morning, Rhea, and Happy Pink Saturday. I'm so glad you are joining us today.

Your story about your husband just makes me smile. What is it about these guys? They are definitely keepers though. My husband just brought me breakfast so I could keep visiting.

Hello Miss Rhea,

Your pink Saturdays are always a treat!Love those lamps! I love what your hubby said. that is too funny! I think I need one of those too. Hubby walks by and sees me on the computer, and says "what are you looking at, fu fu stuff?" I also want to get a fu fu dog! A little maltese and put a pink bow on her! Bless our men, and how they put up with our fu fu stuff! I will have to tell him what your hubby said. He will get a kick out of that! Hope you are feeling good today!

Your little angels your aunt gave you are so sweet! They remind me of my sisters who are twins, one with dark hair and one with light hair! Your lamp is simply gorgeous! And I had to chuckle over your hubby story, as I grumble at my dear hubby over the pile of mail on his side of the kitchen table, when I have stacks of stuff all over the house! Poor hubbies!
