Pink Saturday #3

Well, This is my third pink Saturday. :) I found these old tatted laces the other day thrifting and had to bring them home. I cant resist old lace !! The pink ric rac on the top is another of my Great Grandmothers things that she made. Can you imagine the time it took to crochet onto ric rac ? And the really cool thing is that it is PINK. Yep, GG and I are the Pink Sheeps of the family. :) I have been hoarding this little piece for some time now and haven't found the perfect thing to put it on yet. There is only about a half yard of it .

I actually painted this week !! I think it has been over a month since I was up to painting. This sweet little birdhouse that I mosaicked as well. I added pink glass tiles and pearls to the roof and vintage pink earrings to the peaks that Lori had sent me a while back. :) This is really cute !!! I have it here for sale.

Also I painted this Bible with more of my sweet Pink roses. :) I love painting these as I feel like I am getting God's Word out there. I know He doesn't need me for that, lol , But it is my way to glorify Him with what He gave me. I love Him to death, and will till death. And Beyond that for eternity. :)

More vintage doll restores. Miss Foofy pink blossom, and a sweet bride. I have a thing for old bridal memorabilia. Isn't that the happiest day of our lives next to having our children ?? Gosh, I nearly charged down the Isle to my Sweet Ed. :) lol !! Miss Foofy Blossom is sold but the sweet bride is Here.

And lastly, Christmas ornaments I make each year. I made these and sold them last Christmas, and will be doing them again this year as well. Perfectly PINK don't ya think ?? Well, that is my Pinkness for this week. :) Please go over to Beverly's and see the list of other Pink Poster's today. :)

Hugs,

Rhea

I love your blog Miss Rhea! Everything is so pretty and your devotion to our God is a shining example to all. The little bird house is so sweet. You did a great job. All of the roses you paint are beautiful and look so real I think they should smell sweet. I am glad I found you.
Oh, I am glad that you were able to rescue the lace! The 1/2 yard you have might just fit the edge of a towel.

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed seeing the crochet embellished rickrack. Being a crocheter myself, I love seeing beautiful creative work like this. I never would have even thought to do that! You have a real treasure there.

Your birdhouse is so adorably sweet, and the painted Bible--oh my!

I will be praying for wisdom for your new doctor. I imagine it is very frustrating not to have clear answers.

God hugs,
Lallee
