Velvet Dreams

I have lots of pretties to show this week. I have become Obsessed with velvet !!!! Loving this stuff. :) I made a few collages, this one and the blue tags are a swap hostess gift, for, Guess who..........??? lol, Who do we all know that loves Blue ??? Miss Heather of course. I hope she likes them !! My swap partner is Lori, for the Junque in the Trunk swap, and you will have to wait a few days to see what I am sending her. :)
Shhhhhh, Don't tell Heather !! :) I also made a pink velvet collage for etsy. I just love this !!!! And some white crushed velvet tags, and a pink velvet tussie with the sweetest old.millinery rose. It has my favorite lace of all time on it. Part of a vintage wedding dress. Yummy !!!!

And for ebay I refurbished an old 1940's Monarch train case. They don't make them like this anymore. This thing is solid !!! I also painted this sweet vintage milk glass apothecary jar. I am loving this one as well.





I am finishing up four different swaps right now, so I will post those pictures next time. I am so excited and hope my partners love their things !! I felt quite good all week. :) Next Dr. appt is on Monday, but I am just getting a referral to a specialist, so still wont know anything. I did go walking every day this week, it is so beautiful out here right now, and I want to enjoy it before it hits 115 degrees and I am forced back indoors. Hope your week was good !!
