Up and Running !!

Well, I am up and Running !! ( Well, not QUITE running, but feeling better every day. lol ) The Dr. is sure I have an ulcer, so I have to eat baby type foods for the next 8 weeks and then i should be good again to go and PIG OUT on a big juicy steak with melted blue cheese. ( I have had this horrible craving for weeks now !! ) The good news is , I lost 15 pounds so far. And the even better news is I am still the Blessed girl. My sweet friends have continued to mail me their love. Lorena sent me this pretty hand painted rose tag, and a sweet note on the prettiest paper, Ele, made me a beautiful card , Faith and Endure. Perfect words for me right now. And she sent me that pretty pink doily. I just love it all. Thanks Lorena and Ele !!! My friend Kat sent me the sweet hanging angels to use in some paper art. They are so sweet, I might just leave them alone. I have displayed them with a really cool plastic canvas cross I bought for $1 the last time I went thrifting. Plastic canvas, wow who would have thought. I love the silver sparkle and the pearls.
I wanted to show some of the things I did get done this month. This sweet bluebird picture I painted and sold to a lady in Singapore.
And this sweet pink magazine rack, and another of my birdhouses that I just listed on eBay.

I am also downsizing my Nancy Ann doll collection , I bought a really neat display shelf and these sweeties wont fit into it, so I have to say goodbye. :( Anyhow, I am going to spend the rest of the day with the glue and scissors and just have some FUN. I TRULY thank everyone for being so kind to me during this time. You are all the BEST people ever in my book !!!

Miss Rhea,
I wondered where you had been...I'm sorry you have been sick and had a hospital stay. I hope it is an ulcer and that you will be feeling perky again soon. I'll be praying for a quick recovery.

Thanks so much for stopping by my tea party. I wish you could really be here--I'd make something nice for you to eat!

My chick is doing fine and mother hen is doing better. He was home this weekend--did me some good!
Thanks for asking.

Big hugs,Karen

I'm so glad to hear your feeling better- it's frutrating and scary when you don't feel good and don't know exactly why.
Love the colors of your rose heart & robin- I see you have a copy of Romantic Country- make sure you check out my friend Karla's blog for a party in honor of her article in Romantic Country: http://karlascottage.typepad.com/

Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a nice note on my blog. I appreciate it very much. Especially coming from such a talented artist as yourself. I was very sad to read that you haven't been feeling well, but grateful that you have a diagnosis. I pray you will be on the mend soon!

You can't know how much I admire your painting talent. There's an inner painter in me who tried to get out and was so inept, she went back into hiding. I never could master flowers, especially roses. You do such a beautiful job.

The angels look perfect with the cross.

Thanks for visiting my blog. And I'll be back to check up on what's going on with you!

My gosh, Rhea, what a gloriously beautiful post ~ I can't believe all the pretty eye candy today. Your settings for your pics are absolutely dreamy. Everything you posted would go in the living room of my dreams...maybe soon after the wedding, sigh. Or if I can figure out how to print up some funny money!! I need that magazine rack AND the birdhouse!!!!!

Hugs,
