New Stuff !!!

Well. I got quite a lot done this past few days. I made another of my treasure boxes for Etsy
Several sets of tags. Really liked these two sets the best. That is the sweetest Vintage Pink Girl print, and the Hat lady is so Rosy !!

And for ebay I painted this sweet Teapot and Rose painting. I am just loving how this turned out, and am a bit stunned that I painted it !!Who me ? An Artist ? Hard to believe I started painting roses on eBay one year ago. I had a faux finishing business, with my son as my wonderful helper, painting residential and commercial properties. There are a ton of new homes here in Las Vegas, and we were always busy. We did mostly Custom homes, 3000 - 11,000 sq. ft homes. And each job seemed endless to me, the last year. Some of the bedrooms were the size of my whole house. In the beginning, it was so much fun. Designing a finish for each area, trying to top myself on each job. ( Oh, I am way to competitive !! ) But years of it, being up on scaffold and ladders, having paint in my hair, my eyes, etc. I really burned out !! My knees hurt, my back hurt, etc , etc. So, I started painting for ebay, and what a challenge learning how to put what was in my head onto canvas, or wood or some vintage old loved on item. My first roses looked like pink blobs. lol. They still are a work in progress, roses are probably the hardest flower to paint. That is probably why I started with roses. ( MissEverythingHasToBeAChallengeOrItIsntWorthDoing, lol )

Anyhow, thought I would show you what I have been up to the last few days. *smiles
