Pink Saturday 11/13/10

Happy Pink Saturday !!! Thank you So Much Beverly of How Sweet the Sound for being such an awesome hostess ! Please go say Hi to her and the other Pink Posters :)

Cant believe another week has gone by so quickly ! Didn't get a thing done earlier in the week. But am trying to put the final touches on Christmas items so that I can start listing. I did list a small few Christmas things last night. But have SO many more, so I will probably do a little each day.

Here is a sweet Vintage sleigh I embellished. I have several and they were made in Japan back in the 50's or 60s. They had cheesy red and green plastic holly on them. ( I am saving one cheesy one for my Vintage red Santa collection and will embellish the rest like these, they just turned out TOO pretty not to ! :) Don't you think ? I also embellished this old tiny wreath with mercury glass ornaments. I LOVE the candy feel it has :) And speaking of Candy !! Hubby took me thrifting today and look at this sweet old baby planter !! Does it make you want an ice cream cone ? :) And this one too, do Pink Ears count for Pink Saturday ? These two are going in my shop as my poor kitchen window is FULL already with Cute Planters :)More vintage Baby. This old 1950's Nursery diaper pin jar. ( I filled it with sugar so you could see how cute the graphics are :) AND some old pink and yellow hangers. And I know you have seen this Pink girl before. But she is modeling a crown that I glittered. I have a BUNCH of these and have been meaning to glitter them forever ! But you know this time of year is a Glitterfest in Our House so it seemed like the perfect time. I had made one a few months ago for part of a swap I was in and got the idea then. All they are is the bottoms of wedding cake stands turned upside down. I bought a bag full of them a year or so ago.
And lastly, these aren't Pink ( the pillows in the background that Brenda made are so does that count ? Lol !! ) But, I wanted to show you what I made for one of my Best Friends :) She has seen them already, so I can show you. Aren't they cute ? :) She LOVES anything Cherub, and Aqua. I did pick up another cherub today because these came out so cute I will make one for the shop I think, or me :) :) :)
I was saving these baubles for something really special and my BFF qualifies I think :) Hee hee !

Well, those are my Pinks this week. :) I Hope you are all Loving Fall and getting into the Holiday Spirit !!! I know I am :)

**Update on Mom, PET scan came back clean, except for a few small particles in her throat, but Dr said the radiation should take care of that hopefully. God is AWESOME !!!!!

Hugs,

Rhea
