My Week

Well, this poor fellow is obviously NOT me, but I look pretty much the same. I have to wear something about identical to this for three full days and nights. I am on day number three and am ready for this to be gone. I am tired and cranky. The nodes are glued on with a sticky waxy paste that pulls your hair out. The wires are all connected to a small box that I wear harness style. Hopefully this extended look at my brain will tell us why I have been having tremors. ( Well, they aren't sure if they are tremors, seizures or mini strokes ) This has been going on now for about 8 months and is getting worse. I also have to have another MRI, but this one will be in the machine for over an hour.

Did I tell you I am claustrophobic ? Hee Hee !!! The last one I had, they had to juice me up pretty good so I slept.

Anyhoooooooo, Not much going on with my Art this week. I did get some done last week. But this week seems to be a wash.Like a lot of America, I am GLUED to all things Royal and Wedding right now. I so loved Dianna, and to see her boy married and happy is a wonderful thing. I think a lot of us mothers are standing in for her with our Prayers and Love. :) I hope they have a wonderful life together :)

We celebrated my own handsome son's 26th Birthday this week.

Hope you are having a BLESSED week !!!

Hugs,

Rhea

  2. Praying that your tests find much needed answers and that you survive without too much anxiety. I'm going to be working on special Mother's Day crafts tonight and tomorrow using images that you've shared on your blog. I promise to share with you with I'm done. I also can't wait to watch the royal wedding.

  10. Oh Rhea, I'm so sorry to hear you've been going through such horrible things. Looks VERY uncomfortable.

I'm claustrophobic too, so I know what you mean about those MRI's. It's valium and earplugs for me. An hour though, I think I would have to be put under completely. eeek!

    Good luck to you!

  12. If they don't come up with an answer look up FNDhope.org and neurosymptoms.org. my daughter has FND (functional Neurological Disorder) and it can cause tremors.
