Show and Tell Sundays, Collections

Welcome to another week of Show and Tell Sunday, Hosted by Cindy and Cerri. I took a bunch of pictures of some of the collections I have , and lost half of them in the editing process. Poo !! :) Anyways, I wanted to show you some of my buttons. These are mostly mirrored glass and rhinestone buttons with a few old pearl ones thrown in. I love these.
The next ones are vintage baby buttons that my friend Sharon paints along with her sweet guilloche style heart charms. These are TEENY tiny and Ever So Sweet :) I think these are just a little under 1/4", like 3/16". Unbelievable !!!

She has these Gorgeous studio buttons on her website right now, along with her wonderful charms.

Another collection is My Vintage Ginny/ Muffy style 1950's walker dolls. These are WAY sweet !! I have several, all needing restoration. Look at that saucy little face and cute chubby cheeks. :)

I have been collecting Vintage Wedding dolls, all in need of restoring. All of my babies are patiently waiting for me to Show The Love and give them a spiffy new look. They are looking Peaked, don't you think ? The larger compo one is missing an eye. She really must stop winking at the boys, poor dear, she has winked her eye right off. I feel sorry for her Groom, lol !!!

And lastly a bowl of vintage aqua brooches and earrings. Three of them are hand painted. I just LOVE the pretty one on the bottom right, the antique guilloche one. That is My Show and Tell. Please go to Cindy's for a list of other participators. :)

Hugs,

Rhea

  2. Hi Rhea!
I am a collector of buttons too, love them! I can't believe the detail Sharon gets on the roses on those tiny buttons! Amazing. I used to have Ginny dolls, I wonder what happened to them? Packed away somewhere I suppose. I love your aqua jewelry collection too. So many lovely things:>)
