Birds, Roses and Collage

I am behind on my blog this week. I was working on a few trash to treasure projects to show you and haven't quite finished them yet, so I thought I would just show some other things I made this week. I made a few more journals. I just love these !! They are so pretty and sweet !! They are here. I was in a Birdy mood, can you tell ??




This collage is probably the sweetest thing EVER !!! I just love bluebirds and forget me nots. I think this came out terribly sweet. :) All of my pictures are clickable, so feel free to look at close ups.


I used a vintage poem by Robert Louis Stevenson ( My Fav Poet !! ) from an old 1930's book I have that is falling apart. I hand painted the sweet forget me nots on the rim of the picture. I love mixing the old with the new. :)


This sweet Collage has my favorite Victorian Lady print in the center, and is simply named " Beautiful". Love This !!!! Me and Aqua. :) :) :)

This is the GOOD STUFF mom and I found thrifting lately. The old, big putz Church was a great score, and has its original box too !! It has a mucic box inside and plays Silent Night !! Oh My , I Love it !! I might have to paint the gold pink though. :) :)


There was even an extra tree in the box with fruit on it. Next I found the three little houses. They are plaster, not paper and new. But I love their vintage feel and sweetness. Mom got me this great frame. I think I will paint some bluebirds for it.

    Love the artwork, always so creative.

    You found a winner with the big church, can't believe it had a music box in it as well. You'll have to show us the pink paint job when your finished.
